At Mount Sinai "I AM" said that this group of ex-slaves were to be a "dedicated people, and a kingdom of priests." Moses went up and down the mountain 7 times. Your instructor finds it amazing that these people would say, "All that the Lord says we will do" after the griping and complaining during the first three months of freedom from Egyptian bondage.

1st Day of 3rd month after leaving Egypt people arrive at Mount of God

Moses goes up on mountain
- God says the people
  - God would be their God
  - They are to be a kingdom of priests (there were other before)
  - A chosen people

1st Down

Moses tells the people all said
People say. "All that God says we will do." (See Griping and Complaining)

2nd Up

Moses return to the Mountain
God tells Moses
- Have the people purify themselves
- Get read for the moring of the 3rd day God will come to them and speak.

Moses warns the people not to go near mountain
People prepare themselves
